The Catholic  church was build in several periods, still you can see the relics from the old Franc Catholic monastery.  During Otoman occupation it was converted to a mosque but then it was given back to Catholic church during the reign of King Otto. Church is in the old town of Nafplio. The place is ideal of a romantic Catholic destination wedding. Services are available by appoitment with the priest.

When the visitors are strolling in the  romantic alleys of the old town, they can admire the old mansions, the beautifful Neoclassic buildings scattered around, the small byzantine churches, the  first Greek parliament, museums, cultural centers and art galleries.

I beleive that Naflpio is still undiscovered for a destination wedding in Greece but a promissing destiantion for the near future. It is good as can easily reached from Eleftherios Venizelos airport - the roads are excellent and it is away ony 85 miles or 145 Km . Total travel time 1 hour and 45 minutes

It all started on a plane ride from Boston to Newark...  Girl stole boy's window seat, boy thinks girl's cute, boy asks girl to sit outside during their layover...the rest is history...and now Froso and Sy are in Porto Heli for a truly emotional wedding.

Froso and Sy have chosen Porto Heli for their destination wedding because Froso used  to spend the summers with family and friends in the nearby area.

The parents in the first place were against this decission but the couple was determined to enjoy this  day  in a spectacular location in Athens Greece with family and friends gathered from all over the world.  From the initial email I was asked anything between Glyfada area and Vouliagemni. Finally they choose - Vouliagmeni lake for their reform Jewish wedding. An amazing and breathting location in the suberbs of Athens.
